A RADIO DJ, whose girlfriend was strangled at her Breightmet home, was being interviewed by detectives tonight, after walking into a police station.
Mother-of-one Sarah Widdup's body was found at her Deepdale Road home at the weekend.
On Monday murder squad officers issued details of the dead woman's boyfriend, Paul Sharpe, 30, claiming he may have been able to help their murder investigation.
Detectives had not been able to trace the former Tower FM presenter who was seen talking to the 28-year-old murder victim outside Bolton College on the afternoon before she was killed.
It is understood the pair had started dating a couple of months before, when Sarah phoned Mr Sharpe's late-night radio show on the Bolton station, which he has since left.
Mr Sharpee walked into Bury police station just after 2pm.
A full report will appear in the print version of the BEN tomorrow.
