BOLTON clarinettist Arun Ghosh will be playing at the lunchtime concert this Thursday at St Andrew and St George United Reformed Church, St George's Road, Bolton. He will be accompanied by Cherry Vann on piano. Arun gained much of his musical experience from playing in the Bolton Youth Orchestra.
After finishing school he studied music at Cambridge University and he has just completed a postgraduate performance course at the Royal Northern college of Music in Manchester.
He now lives in Manchester where he teaches and performs jazz and classical music.
Cherry Vann is Chaplain among deaf people in Manchester and Team Vicar in the East Farnworth and Kearsley team. As an accomplished pianist she gives many recitals, and is also conductor of the Bolton Chamber Orchestra.

The programme will include classical pieces and some Gershwin and Cole Porter numbers.
The concert is from 12.45 until 1.30 pm and light lunches are available from noon.
In the final concert on October 26 Vanessa Nuttall, soprano, will be singing.
