THE only game to survive the weekend's bad weather Spinning Mule of the first division entertained Crofters Arms.
Mule were chasing their second successive victory to try and climb out of the bottom four and they did it winning emphatically on home soil by 4-1.
Spinning Mule took an early first half lead through Steve Sherrin and this was followed up by a second strike from Andy Hallows and with Mule dominating most of the game they went in at half time two goals up.
When the game entered the second period, Crofters seemed as though they were trying in vain to get back into the game and their luck paid off when Bob Monks snatched a goal back for the visitors. With Spinning Mule shocked by the goal by the Arms they were forced into making a tatical decision that paid off, Mules' manager introducing marksman Carl Wynn, who scored two late goals to seal the points.
