WE called into Barton Grange towards the end of September, and lo and behold Christmas had arrived.
Mind you I love Christmas (the real meaning of it), but not at that time of the year. Talk about commercialism, I'll bet they've got Easter Eggs in the storeroom.
And here's me, optimistically thinking, seeing we hadn't had much of a summer, perhaps an Indian Summer might be just around the corner.
Ah well, there's always next year.
