RADCLIFFE Boro made it seven wins on the trot last night with a 1-0 victory at Congleton Town in the Unibond League Division One.
Despite the terrible playing conditions, both sides stuck to their passing game with home team Congleton finding the back of the net twice in the first half only to see a flag raised for offside and striking the crossbar right on the stroke of half time.
On 58 minutes, Ian Lunt was fouled outside Congleton penalty area. Mark Dempsey attempted to curl the ball round the defensive wall but a hand made contact and the resulting penalty was dispatched by Dempsey.
Full back Rick Battersby was named as the Boro man of the match.
Boro's opponents in the FA Cup fourth qualifying round will be Burscough after the Unibond Premier Division side walloped Witton Albion 6-1 in last night's replay.
