FROM time to time criticisms are made about the National Health Service.
I had occasion to attend the Accident and Emergency Department at the Royal Bolton Hospital on Tuesday morning October 3 with a friend who had an accident in town injuring her shoulder.
She received excellent treatment and care. I was able to observe the staff at work and can say that I have the highest praise for the entire staff of the department including Social Services, all of whom gave the highest possible standard of care with extreme courtesy and kindness. The same kindness was also shown to me. I was very impressed.
