IF you've ever fancied the waiting game, or feel the call to the bar, then Bolton's newest hotel wants you!
The £12m De Vere Whites Hotel complex within the Wanderers' Reebok Stadium is all set for its grand opening later this month. Now all they need is a few good men and women to help cater for the customers.
Hotel chiefs have put out the call for Bolton folk who are interested in a career in the industry to get in touch.
Management at the four star hostelry, the first of its kind to be integrated into a football ground, say that they are looking for 45 people to staff its bars and restaurants.
They say that working within the food and beverages area can lead to a wide range of career opportunities.
"We are building something that has been talked about a lot, but has rarely become reality," said food service manager Colin Lindsay.
"We are looking for people who are excited about making a mark on the industry, not only short term, but long term, building a future and a career for themselves."
Jobs on offer include everything from waiters, bar and breakfast staff, restaurant managers through to food and beverage management and sous chefs.
The hotel say recruitment is based on personality and they will give the successful applicants the training they need to reach four-star standards, which could include NVQ qualifications.
If food and drink sounds like your cup of tea, contact De Vere Whites personnel and training manager Joanne Alcock for details on 01204 6677688
