AN elderly Westhoughton couple are appealing for help after a treasured video of their grandson went missing when they sold their video recorder.
Edgar Crook, of Winslow Road, sold his video recorder two weeks ago, but forgot to take out a cassette which showed his grandson Adam Crook who is now a captain in the Queen's Lancashire Regiment on parade.
The man who bought the recorder telephoned to let Edgar and his wife know he would return the tape, but he has not been in touch since and they do not have his telephone number.
They are desperate to be reunited with the tape and are willing to go and collect it in person. Mr Crook can be contacted on 01942 815143.
