CHORLEY residents will have the chance to learn about schizophrenia from a special play.
Turning Point Theatre Company, in conjunction with the National Schizophrenia Fellowship, have added a Chorley performance to their tour of the Midlands and North West.
The Devon-based group will present 'The Tameness of a Wolf' for one night at Chorley Little Theatre, Dole Lane, on October 25, at 7pm. Admission is by ticket only, but these are available free by phoning 01257 516083.
The play was shortlisted for a Caring About Carers Award this year. It tells the story of Helen and Danny, a modern couple who together face the consequences when Danny is diagnosed with schizophrenia.
After the performance, audience members can put questions to a panel of local arts and health workers, chaired by Lynn Ferrand, the play's author and director.
