LOVERS of art are being invited to a new exhibition in Chorley.
Astley Hall is hosting work by 'The English 7' -- a group of painters including borough councillor Tom Titherington -- who met through an art fair.
Tom said: "We're a group of seven artists, who feel that we get along well together but don't represent a particular style."
The group present a mixture of modern and more traditional pieces proving that art is well and truly alive today, and some of the work is for sale.
Tom said: "I would not come along with too many preconceived ideas. What's nice about this is its a mixed show, and you don't have to like everything."
"We think Astley Hall is a good venue. They have kept the natural light and it's one of the nicest small scale galleries."
The English 7 exhibition runs at Astley Hall, Astley Park, Chorley, until November 12. ART lover: Tom Titherington with his work 'Sophie learns to skip'.
