TWO hundred guests are expected to attend the 11th annual Bolton Business Lecture at the Reebok Stadium, Lostock on Monday evening.
Organisers Bolton Business Ventures are delighted that so many people are interested in hearing the success story of the Iceland Group from founder and chairman Malcolm Walker.
Iceland Group is a leading UK high street food retailer and the country's largest cash and carry operator serving the independent retail trade. It has established 'green' credentials by eliminating genetically modified ingredients, artificial colours and flavours. During the first six months of 2000 like-for-like food sales are up six per cent and the Group pre-tax profit is up 10 per cent to £39.5 million.
BBV Chief Executive Paul Davidson said Mr Walker was to outline the group's road to success.
"It promises to be a fascinating story," he said.
