FOLK in Bolton are being told to survey their own homes to find 10 potential safety hazards.
Safety chiefs at electricity company Norweb are encouraging the initiative during National Health and Safety Week and aim to make people more aware of dangers in the home.
They hope to help save injuries and even people's lives if members of the public can identify potential hazards such as obstacles near the stairs and overloaded electrical plug sockets - and minimise the risks.
