Stockport County 4, Wanderers 3
IAN Marshall led an icredible fightback as Wanderers came from 3-0 down at half time in a valiant bid to retain their unbeaten away record writes BEN Chief Soccer Writer Gordon Sharrock.
But their efforts counted for nothing as Aaron Wilbraham netted an 89th minute winner to give struggling Stockport the points in a dramatic derby.
Marshall scored twice - on 59 and 84 minutes - either side of a Michael Ricketts strike to square the game before County, previously without a home win, grabbed the glory.
Wanderers had earlier given themselves a mountain to climb, conceding three first half goals and contributing to their own downfall with some poor defending.
Jussi Jaaskelainen's weak clearance presented Kevin Cooper with a chance to set up Andy Tod for a shot that deflected off Mark Fish for the first on 22 minutes and the defence was still in disarray a minute later when Jarko Wiss headed home from close range after Cooper's header had rebounded off the bar.
Things went from bad to worse when the back four was caught square by Cooper's through ball and Moore raced away to beat Jaaskelainen for the third.
