I have read the article on the members of PETA who were protesting against the BHF shop. (BEN October 19) and there is a quote saying: 'Thousands of lives have been saved because or research developed with essential use of animals'.
Research using animals hinders medical research because of the many, many differences between animals and humans. I think it is disgusting that animal research should still carry on in the 21st century, that animals should be treated as inferior to humans, why do we still have this superiority complex?
People comment on how animal rights activists are so emotional. Well anyone who can be confronted by some of the horrifying images and the rank stench of a slaughter house and not feel any emotion obviously have something wrong with them.
Tell me this, what is the difference between killing an animal and killing a human being?
