LAW firm Keoghs Solicitors is this week launching Peoplepack -- a one-stop shop for employment law solutions -- at a forum to be staged in Harrogate.
The Bolton-based national company is to man one of the stands at the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development's national conference, which runs from Wednesday to Friday.
Peoplepack aims to provide a complete package for managers with Human Resource responsibility.
Mr Alan Lewis, head of employment at Keoghs in Bolton, said the penalties for getting it wrong could be enormous.
"Employment tribunals can make awards in excess of £50,000 and in discrimination cases they can be unlimited.
"Peoplepack ensures businesses, large or small, have effective employment and health and safety policies in place in advance of any problems."
Key services include representation and support before tribunals, drafting employment contracts and handbooks, personnel policies and procedures and support on a wide variety of projects, including redundancy.
