MARK Daniel is still only 18 but he is already established professionally as an illusionist and DJ.
The former Canon Slade pupil from Little Lever first became interested in magic when his grandparents brought him some simple tricks.
He started performing while still at school and choreographs his own shows.
That has led to his company -- MDM Entertainments -- staging a joint venture with Christ Church, Little Lever.
He was approached by church members to help them stage their first production, the pantomime Cinderella.
Mark is directing and choreographing the show.
The music director is Gill Fletcher, a member of the church.
Auditions have already been held and rehearsals are underway.
Cinderella is played by Joanne Hartley; Eunice Attwood is Prince Rupert and Tim Branche plays Buttons.
Mark said: "There are eight principals and a chorus of about 25. As the ages of the chorus range from seven to 60, I have to work out different routines for them.
"I think people are now realising how hard they will have to work."
He added: "This is my first production outside my own show and I am enjoying it, but sometimes it is difficult to fit in my own engagements with rehearsals."
Recently he played a bouncer in Bolton Premier Productions' version of a A Slice of Saturday Night.
Tickets for the show, which runs from January 18 to 20, are already available from Mark on 01204 437715, or from the Box Office on 7008178.
