THE number of working days lost through sickness in Bolton Council's leisure services department has fallen, a report to councillors revealed.
Some 2,313 days were lost from April to September 1999 at a cost of almost £100,000. But for the equivalent period this year it had dropped to 1,962 days at a cost of £80,000. The report put the improvement down to better monitoring.
