SHAKERS midfielder Darren Bullock begins his comeback today when he plays for the reserves at Chesterfield.
Bullock has been out since the start of the month with a ripped thigh muscle.
"He is itching to play and the reserve game will be a good run out for him," said manager Andy Preece, "If all goes well he will be in the squad for the weekend game at Wigan."
Preece said he hadn't heard anything from Wimbledon FC, who have confirmed they are interested in signing Bullock to bolster their team. "If we'd heard from Wimbledon we would let Bully know." because there is no point in keeping things like that from the players," he added.
"At the moment though the phone hasn't rung."
