WANT-AWAY hooker Mick Higham is back in full training with Leigh Centurions.
And if his move to a Super League club stalls, he'll start the Northern Ford Premiership season at Hilton Park.
Higham, who along with full-back Stuart Donlan, continue to be linked to Halifax Blue Sox, resumed pre-season training on Monday. But Donlan is still an absentee.
The futures of Higham and Donlan could be finally settled on November 15 when their cases are heard by in independent arbitration panel.
Head coach Paul Terzis says: "Mick's back in full training and back in my plans for next season.
"If the transfer business is sorted out to everyones' satisfaction then he'll go to Halifax with our best wishes.
"If not, he will be staying and playing with the Centurions. That's an agreement we have because Mick knows that he needs to be playing rugby league, not sat at home.
"We don't know what Stuart's plans are. He's not reported back for training and he hasn't been in contact with me recently. The door is always open and he knows that."
