SCHOOLGIRL singing sensation Hannah Morris will be switching on Bolton's Christmas lights.
It will be a star-studded affair when Hannah will be joined for the festive event by top popsters Atomic Kitten.
Shoppers can look forward to an action-packed evening of entertainment.
Atomic Kitten are sure to attract thousands of people to Victoria Square when they perform at the special bash on Thursday, November 16.
The girl trio has already notched-up three top 10 hits including 'Right Now' and 'See Ya'.
It will be Hannah's first public appearance in her home town since coming fourth in the grand final of the BBC's 'A Star for a Night'.
Her debut single, 'I'll Be There', comes out on November 6 and her album is already selling well since its release on Monday.
The Smithills School pupil shot to fame since after first appearing on the BBC talent contest last year.
She was signed-up by Virgin Records in February and has appeared on plenty of radio and TV programmes.
The council's glittering line-up also includes performances from Bolton Youth Brass Band and the three winners of the town's BBC Music Live Festival, Charles Butcher, Sarah Jane Rushton and Samantha Pilling.
There will be stars from the Octagon's Christmas production, The Owl and the Pussy Cat, the Albert Hall's panto Cinderella, Bolton Wanderers players, Lofty the Lion and youngsters from the Saturdays Club.
Rock band Al!ve will be taking to the stage before headliners Hannah Morris and Atomic Kitten, followed by the grand finale of Bolton's Mayor and Father Christmas turning on the lights.
A colourful firework display will round off the evening at 7pm.
The evening of entertainment kicks off at 5pm.
