MORE than 2,000 Little Splashers and their families did their bit in June for Tommy's Campaign during Splashathon 2000, held in association with Huggies Little Swimmers.
At 260 swimming pools nationwide, babies and toddlers were encouraged by their parents to splash a width of their pool in aid of the charity which funds research into miscarriage, premature birth and stillbirth. Over the last few weeks cheques and letters have been rolling in making it likely that this year's Slashathon will raise £100,000. I would like to thank all those pools and fantastically enthusiastic Little Splashers who showed their support and helped raise funds.
