I READ in the BEN on October 24, "Cherie wins vote for best mother". Cherie Booth beats Madonna and Posh Spice. What a load of old poppycock. I am one of 11 children, and my mum worked hard at bringing us up single-handed.
How can Cherie Blair have the cheek to say she juggles her career as a barrister while bringing up four children? These big wigs have got nannies to do all the dirty work and nappies that never get mentioned. The only time big wigs handle their children is for the photographers, then it's back to the nanny.
As for Tony Blair, I doubt if he has ever seen a nappy in his life.
There are parents with large families who are bringing up children. They never get mentioned. I brought up seven children. L et's get realistic.
