IT has to be said that consistency will get you promotion, Watford and Fulham have already shown that. However, we haven't shown that at all.
Saturday's display was poor, lacked character, passion and commitment. We didn't string any passing movements together and our creativity was left in the dressing room.
Palace were poor but we were worse and it's so damned frustrating!
I guess we can console ourselves in the fact that Watford threw away their two-goal lead and Fulham fell to a late goal but consistency is picking up three points and keeping the momentum going instead of dropping the two.
Instead of focusing on the negatives, I'll conclude on some positives: Ricardo Gardner worked very well and was very creative at times; Bergsson was solid and showed he could attack as well as defend; and, after the second goal, we showed signs of commitment and creativity.
So let's hope we can take the positives on board and multiply them for the clash against QPR.
Man of the Match: Lofty the Lion - he's always entertaining.
