MIDDLE managers at Leigh bakers Waterfields have taken part in a special training initiative.
Mr Steve Pass, from training company CMC Associates, led the course in association with the National Examination Board for Supervisory Studies.
Waterfields staff from both the retail and manufacturing sections covered topics which included raising production efficiency levels, cutting administration time and improving training and staff development methods.
Development Manager Elaine Barlow said: "We wanted to develop middle management, in particular to focus on a number of aspects of managing people. We were looking to better equip our managers and assist the company in moving forward."
