THE seniors were looking for a win to get back on track after last week's defeat and with a full roster, a win looked possible.
Their opponents, Cardinal Langley, proved to be a tough nut to crack as both teams traded bsakets for most of the game.
The visitors had an easy route to the basket made by quick movement off the ball for easy inside shots.
Bolton on the other hand, possess one of the league's best defensive units in Greg Sanderson and Mike Nichols, who made steals leading to easy points and feeding the runners for easy buckets. Richard Booth and Seddon proved tough on the boards with Seddon using his bulk to muscle inside for points.
At the end of the third, Bolton led by two and looked comfortable. And as this season has shown, their true colours come through when it matters most. With seven players scoring, the home team ran off a 16-2 run which opened up the largest lead for either team.
Good shot selection mixed with offensive rebounding and tough defense enabled the team to maintain the lead and notch up their third win out of four games with Mike Nichols and Greg Sanderson leading scorers with 24 and 18 points respectively.
