A BOLTON woman hopes to add to her already impressive title tally when she fights for a European championship.
Thai boxer Jussy Lowe, from Little Lever, will take on a Dutch opponent for the vacant European Bantamweight (under 52kg) Ladies title on November 12 at Horwich Leisure Centre.
The 26-year-old already holds the British Flyweight and Commonwealth Bantamweight ladies championships.
She said: "I am looking forward to it because I have been a long time out of the ring.
"The last time I fought was in Holland, so I am looking forward to them coming over here."
Her trainer, Sandy Holt, said: "This is a special one because we have not had a European title fight in Horwich before.
"Jussy trains six days a week and I am confident that with her training, she has the ability to win the title."
There are a total fo 12 fights on the programm, including Vicky Roberts, who is also trained by Sandy, fighting for the English Featherweight Ladies title, John Hale, from Wigan, in the English Light-Middleweight title and 14-year-old Gareth Fitzsimmons, in a junior bout.
The event begins at 2pm (doors open at 1pm) and is in aid of the Nathan Howarth Appeal.
