4-4-2
JUSSI JAASKELAINEN 7
Got a hand to the goal and did what he had to do - which wasn't much.
JOHN O'KANE 7
Nothing spectacular but nothing silly either. One of those solid and consistent games his manager wants from him.
GUDNI BERGSSON 8
His third goal makes him the third top club goalscorer but it was his work at the back which won him the sponsors' man of the match award.
MARK FISH 7
Strong, uncompromising and dominant. But then again, we don't expect any less from a player of his class.
ROBBIE ELLIOTT 8
What a goal and what crucial flexibility he gives his manager when he can slip into the left back slot so comfortably.
BO HANSEN 7
So frustrating at times and must have been so frustrated himself with his bad luck in front of goal. Worked his socks off.
PER FRANDSEN 7
Peppered the QPR goal with long shots in the first half and produced a typically strong display.
GARETH FARRELLY 7
Played his part in a three-man midfield which controlled the engine room.
KEVIN NOLAN 9
The fans sung 'Nolan for England' and he earned the accolade with a precocious performance.
RICARDO GARDNER 8
The outstanding performer in the first half, he looks a real class act at this level.
MICHAEL RICKETTS 8
Comes alive in the box as his cheeky and skilfully backheeled eighth goal of the season proved - but he's also willing to work outside it.
Subs: Steve Banks, Anthony Barness, Liam Richardson, Franck Passi, Isaiah Rankin (for Ricketts 79 mins).
QPR

Man of the match
KEVIN NOLAN
The youngster is unknown outside Bolton but on this display it won't be long before word spreads. He covered miles, produced skill and strength and showed plenty of composure on a testing night.
Moan of the match
More than one defensive lapses in concentration in the first half which cost Wanderers dear when Marlon Broomes was left all alone on the right flank to pick out Peter Crouch for QPR's goal.
Magic Moment
Robbie Elliott's unstoppable right footed volley was as important as it was spectacular. He only had one thing on his mind when he attacked the ball 25 yards out and if the net hadn't got in the way it would still be rising now.
