TWO accountancy practices -- Jackson Stephen, Leigh and P G Bogle & Co, Bolton -- have merged. They are now trading under the Jackson Stephen name in Bradshawgate, Leigh.
The firm, which acts for more than 1,500 clients, has nine partners and more than 40 fee earners.
Partner Diane Brennan, said: "We are delighted to welcome Garth Bogle and his team and sure that the merger will prove greatly beneficial to both parties. P G Bogle & Co is a well-established practice with an excellent reputation within the Bolton area."
There have been three major appointments -- Peter Hodges (head of forensic accounting and investigations division), Ian Booth (head of financial strategies division) and Chris Styles (head of information technology division).
