NOT content with having raised over £66,000 for local charities, Adlington-based artist Gerry Halpin is now giving Bolton Hospice a festive helping hand.
Gerry has spent the last few years assisting the CHAT charity to upgrade the area's ambulances with children's equipment.
This year, though, with this particular CHAT target reached, he has turned his attentions to the town's busy hospice. He has created two new Christmas cards -- one of Great House Barn at Rivington and the other of Horwich Parish Church, viewed from Foxholes.
They are Gerry's usual atmospheric watercolours, on large card, at a good-valued £2.20 per five-card pack.
They are available from the Hospice shops around the Bolton area and from other local outlets, including Rivington Barn gift-shop, Jeanne Toys in Chorley Old Road, Bolton and Chorley Road, Adlington, Wallworks greengrocery in Church Street, Westhoughton and Heatons Chemist in Chorley New Road, Horwich.
