THE nightmare tragedy of a cot death often leaves parents very anxious about another child. But professionals like Felicity Over help give them peace of mind.
Felicity is a health visitor at the Great Lever Health Centre, but, as grateful parent Mrs G Atherton explains, she is much more.
"She's also in charge of the CONI programmes, which stand for Care of the Next Infant. She supports people like myself and my husband who have been through the terrible trauma of losing a child through cot death," said Mrs Atherton.
"She arranges for special breathing monitors that you can use at home which allow you to sleep while your baby is sleeping.
"She is always there if you need her. She does a lot of good work, including with new mums, and I thought she could do with some recognition of her work by receiving your Bouquet of the Week."
Felicity was delighted to receive a lovely hand-tied bouquet, which arrived courtesy of Caroline Ward's flower and gift service (freephone 0800-289-335).
If YOU know a special someone who deserves our flowers, write and tell us about them (including their daytime telephone number) to: Bouquet of the Week, Angela Kelly, Features Department, Bolton Evening News, Churchgate, Bolton BL1 1DE.
