NO matter how much planning and preparation you do you cannot legislate for an unbelievably bad error like that.

We got ourselves in front and we were pushing for a second goal and we allowed Bolton to come back in when they could not believe their luck.

In boxing terms they were on the ropes.

We were playing against a good side who came here with a game plan which we knew would be very different to the Spurs game in midweek. Spurs came at us and we were good on the counter attack.

We knew if we over committed against Bolton they would break through Ricketts, their only striker.

We had to be patient and we kept working at it and I was pleased with the performance. It was a winning performance - if you play like that you normally win the game. Due to a goalkeeper effor we didn't win it.

When Ricketts was clear again at 1-1 they had another player over at the far post and Darren Purse did extremely well to hold him up long enough and then snap into the tackle at the right time. Our front two did very well and I was satisfied all round.
