POLICE have confirmed dental records will be used to identify the badly burnt body of a man found in a car by firefighters on moorland.
The body was found in the front seat of the car parked in a farmer's track off Rivington Lane, Rivington.
Firefighters discovered the man after extinguishing a blaze in the car at 4am on Saturday morning.
He is yet to be formally identified but he is believed to have been a married man from outside the Bolton area.
Police say there are no suspicious circumstances.
