DRUGS with a street value of more than £26,000 were seized by police in the Bolton south sub-divison in just two months.
Up-to-date figures reveal that £26,020 of drugs were recovered during police operations in August and September.
But a comparison of the two months shows a huge difference in the amount of drugs found, with £1,400 recovered in August but £24,620 seized the following month. The two-month haul is made up of £9,000 worth of heroin , cannabis with a street value of £11,370, amphetamines to the value of £1,370, cocaine worth £420 and LSD worth £4,200.
The drugs were seized after 10 search warrants were executed.
Thirteen people were arrested on suspicion of drug dealing and 9 others were arrested for possession of drugs.
