THE Halliwell Theatre Company's next production is the Bill Naughton play All In Good Time.
Director Steve Maslivec says about it: "People may remember the film version entitled The Family Way starring Sir John Mills and his daughter Hayley Mills, parts of which were filmed in Bolton during the 1960's.
"This robustly humorous play centres on the sensitive Arthur and his new bride forced by economic circumstances to live with his good-hearted but rough-tongued father. The lack of privacy is so inhibiting that Arthur is unable to consummate the marriage and gradually word gets round!"
The play will be performed from November 21 to 25 at Harvey Street and will be "in the round" format.
Because of this seating capacity is reduced from about 200 to 80 and that is why the play is going on for five nights. Tickets are available on 01204 597055 and 847878. If anyone has an old fashioned single three-quarter bed, the Halliwell Theatre Company would be delighted to hear from you. Arthur and Violet desperately need such a bed.
