A FORMER Bury primary school, now being used as a drugs den, was set alight by arsonists last night.
Four fires were started on the ground and first floor of Brandlesholme County Primary School, Brandlesholme Road.
Firefighters were called to the blaze and detectives are investigating.
Bury station officer Paul Myerscough said: "Our concern is that fires could be started in one part of the old school while children are playing in another. Lives could be lost."
