ON October 21, I was on a coach to Llandudno for a few days' holiday, but, because of severe pain in my knee (after a recent knee operation), found I couldn't use the very high seat at the back of the coach. Mr and Mrs Marrion and Fred Greenhalgh, of Astley Bridge, very kindly gave up their seats so I could sit on a lower seat. Without their help I couldn't possibly have managed the travelling on the coach, and felt I just had to write to you to express my heartfelt thanks because they were so kind. Because of their help, I managed a much needed holiday. My husband also wishes to thank them, and hope you could give them a mention in your column. Mrs P Spruijt Halliwell Road, Bolton
