POLICE investigating a crash which killed a teenager are appealing for witnesses.
Badar Rafique, aged 19, was thrown through the windscreen of his car following the smash on Chorley Old Road, Bolton, on Friday at 2.10pm.
It is thought the teenager -- who police say was not wearing a seat-belt -- lost control of his Honda Civic and smashed into a wall outside the Bob Smithy Inn.
His car had been in collision with a Rover 620 driven by Philip Breckell, aged 49, and his wife Pauline, aged 50, of Barlow Street, Horwich.
Police believe Mr Rafique, of Belgrave Street, Brownlow Fold, had overtaken three cars and officers are urging those drivers to contact them.
Anyone who can help can contact Bolton Traffic Unit on 0161 856 5972.
