A TRIO of teenage indie darlings are heading for Bolton town centre for a live date with some big-name back-up.
Chorley-based fi-lo radio will be playing at the Baroc Cafe, Halliwell Road, on Saturday, November 25.
Formed in 1998, the band -- Jon Lee, guitar, vocals and keyboards; Jude, bass, vocals and keyboards, and Chris, drums, all aged 19 -- got its first break on Session Unsigned for Radio One last year.
The broadcast was heard by Gordon Gibson, supremo at Action Records, who signed them up and released their first single the Magic/Audio/Nano Ep which reached no 34 in the indie charts. The group's new single -- Pretty Bones -- is out now.
Another fi-lo track was recently used on the Channel 5 extreme sports programme Rad.
And for the Bolton gig, fi-lo radio will be joined by recent indie chart-toppers Angelica.
Tickets for the Baroc Cafe show are available from Conor on 01204 494471 and for more information on fi-lo radio you can visit their website at www.filoradio.com.
