FORMER Coronation Street star Jane Danson -- alias Leanne Battersby -- has been named Best Actress in this year's Inside Soap magazine awards.

The 21-year-old from Radcliffe said: "I've been nominated for a few awards but this is the first time I've ever won."

Jane is currently appearing in the medical drama, A&E.

CORONATION Street is 40 years-old on December 9, and to celebrate this unique anniversary, the BEN is publishing a special supplement -- for readers to keep and enjoy.

"Forty Years of Coronation Street" will be full of information, features, competitions and Bolton area connections with the famous series and is available in local newsagents from Tuesday, November 28.
