THE media spotlight seems permanently trained on Radcliffe Boro's Stainton Park ground this week in the build-up to Sunday's FA Cup first round tie with York City.

The venue for the game has had to be switched to Bury's Gigg Lane Ground but down the road at the Unibond Division One outfit the phone has just never stopped ringing from dawn through to dusk.

Filming crews from Sky TV Sports have been at the Stainton Park ground all day today interviewing club personalities, especially club chairman Bernard Manning Junior and the club's Number One fan, his father the famous comedian. 1st team manager Kevin Glendon explains, "The atmosphere is really beginning to build up now and it's fantastic.

"Goodness knows what it's going to be like as we get towards the weekend. I just feel chuffed for everyone at the club because they have worked so hard and they really deserve all this success and being in the limelight for once."

The match is being held at Bury FC's Gigg Lane and admission price has been set at £10 and £5 concessions.
