WITH reference to 'Your Views' of November 10, may I point out factual errors made by two of your most prolific contributors.
I must point out to George K Brown that his beloved BEN lost its local roots many years ago and is now published by an American-owned company.
I must also point out to the 'non-political' Albert Hornby that he is not correct when he states that the other two seats in Bolton, other than Bolton West, have been 'solid Labour' for many years now. Has he forgotten that for 13 years up to the last election, Bolton North-East was held by the Tories?
B W Tyas Cooper

Bolton.
Editor's note: It seems Mr Tyas Cooper is also prone to making errors. To suggest that the BEN has lost its local roots, when it has been in existence in the town centre since 1867, is utterly ridiculous.
