A WOMAN cashier was bundled into an office, slashed across the face with a screwdriver and pushed to the floor during a bungled robbery last night.
The 39-year-old woman was confronted by four men who forced a rear fire door at the Elf Service Station in Manchester Road, Bury, at 7.45pm.
According to police, the robbers demanded the safe key and the woman's car keys but she refused to hand them over.
The four men found the safe key but they were forced to escape empty handed when they were disturbed.
The cashier was treated for her injuries at the scene but she was not taken to hospital.
