CHOOSING the perfect Christmas gift for a favourite friend, grandparent or other relative can be a real and costly headache.

But don't despair -- help is at hand. Age Concern will be hosting the ever-popular Christmas Fair at the charity's Ashburner Street Centre, Bolton, on Friday, November 17, starting at 1.30pm.

As usual there'll be an imaginative choice of new and nearly new gifts to suit all the family and all at very reasonable prices.

Choose from toiletries, books, groceries, cakes, Christmas stationery, confectionery, soft toys, handicrafts, giftware and much more.

Teresa Forrest, the Fair's organiser, is appealing for any last-minute good quality items in support of this important fund-raising event:

"If anyone has any new or nearly new gifts they'd like to donate to us, we shall be very pleased to receive them. Please bring them in to the Ashburner Street centre -- it's still not too late."

So why not come along on Friday to sort out your Christmas shopping and at the same time support the charity's work.
