STRUGGLING businesses hit by family tensions are the target for a joint venture between the Institute of Business Advisers and Barclays Corporate Business Support.
They have developed a practical workshop -- to be run in 12 regions over the next three months -- which looks at overcoming hostility, resentment and opposition.
They say that with two thirds of all UK businesses family owned and managed, business advisers can have an important role in providing dispassionate guidance on solving difficulties.
