I FEEL as if I must voice my disgust at the way the BEN and Allardyce continue to berate the alleged stayaway fans.
Having followed the Wanderers for 30 years, from Dunstable, Beds and now Co Durham, I have often questioned my own sanity on the long journey home after a November midweek fixture against the likes of Aldershot and Colchester. Football is about loyalties true, however, those loyalties are a two-way thing.
I never heard you or the previous managers praise the fans loyalties when we had full houses, nor have the club ever done anything in the way of financial rewards for the long suffering true fans. Also when was the last time you or Sam paid to watch the team you profess to support? Sunderland give thousands of free tickets to children in order to guarantee future support, Crystal Palace charge students £99 for a season ticket, Birmingham have kids for a quid matches. Get the point!!
