I READ with interest Sam Allardyce's comments regarding his concern over the dropping attendances at the Reebok.
Maybe Mr Allardyce, like many professionals in the football world nowadays, has lost touch with the financial reality of everyday life.
The cost of attending games at the Reebok, whether it be as an individual or as part of the family, has, it's got to be said, scandalous for what in effect is one-and-a half-hour's First Division "entertainment".
Recently, a friend of mine travelled to the impressive Stade de France, to watch the World Champions France take on England in an International friendly, the price?
A good £5.00 cheaper than watching Bolton at the Reebok.
If Sam Allardyce wants to know why people are staying away from the Reebok, perhaps he should look at the pricing structure, and charge the going rate for the people of Bolton, who I'm sure in turn would ensure that the Reebok is full to capacity most weeks.
