WHAT goes on behind the doors of Bolton's Museum, Art Gallery and Aquarium?
The public will have a chance to find out on Wednesday when they can take a peek behind the scenes.
Tours are being organised at 6.45pm and 7.45pm when visitors can look in-depth at the aquarium, see conservators come clean and find out more about fine art.
There will be a chance to explore the Zoology stores with their collection of bird skins, and pop into the Egyptology department.
The museum's first-ever open evening has been organised to attract future "Friends" to join and support their local museum. Booking is essential, for an application form contact 01204 332211. Closing date is this Tuesday at noon. There will be no admittance without prior application.
