I WAS very pleased to read about Frank Partington and his 'curry pies' in the Evening News on Saturday, November 11.
My mind went back many years to when his mother and father had the shop at Burnden, they made the most wonderful square steak and kidney pies. I've never tasted anything as good since -- happy memories.
