IT'S good news that the popular Monopoly game has been given a new lease of life.
And it's even better news that Bolton landmarks are part of the game.
It was an inspired idea to regionalise the game and we are delighted that there is no nonsense about where Bolton is geographically.
The Bolton places are in the Lancashire version of the game -- and quite right too.
We share the displeasure of Bolton Wanderers' fans that the Reebok is priced at a lesser value than the JJB Stadium in Wigan.
And we agree with the spokesman for Bolton Wanderers, who has said that the game is wrong in pricing the JJB Stadium at £20 more than the Reebok and that perhaps the figures should be reversed.
We predict that this regionalised Monopoly game will be hugely popular, particularly with Lancashire folk who are living abroad.
Anyone homesick for Bolton places will surely be comforted by knowing they can "buy" them, if only in a game.
