A WOMAN suffered an injured hand when a thug snatched her handbag as she got into a car.
The thief struck at 5.40pm yesterday as the 38-year-old woman was climbing into her car parked on Silverwell Street, opposite Bolton Parish Church.
The shaven headed attacker snatched the bag, injuring one of his victim's fingers, before he fled the scene. The woman was badly shocked. She was treated in the offices of the Bolton Evening News before police arrived on the scene.
The man wanted in connection with the attack is said to be in his 20s and was wearing dark clothing.
